Confectionary Skull

There are a lot of Confectionary and Soap Molds available online or in Arts & Crafts stores and Restaurant Supply stores. Some of the molds are 2-Part, usually used for chocolate. The two halves are pressed together to form a 3D shape.

These are great molds to use for casting ShapeCrete because all you need to do is staple the molds together and pour in the mix.

STEP 1: Gather Supplies

The first step is to trace around the shape and cut it out with scissors.

STEP 2: Cut Hole for Filling

Mark out a place to cut. In this case there is a flat part on the underside of the skull that works perfectly.

STEP 3: Staple the Two Halves Together

Carefully line up the two halves and staple or tape them together. Binder clips will work even better!

STEP 4: Mix and Pour

The supplies for this project are easy to find and the whole project only takes 30 minutes to 1 hour.
